 3. Introduction of Track Chairs

Prof. Jiaqi Yan, Nanjing University, China

Yan Jiaqi is a professor at the School of Information Management, Nanjing University, where he also serves as the Head of the Department of Information Management Science and the Director of the Blockchain Lab. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science, a dual Bachelor's degree in Economic Law, and a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, as well as a PhD in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. He previously served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Information Systems at City University of Hong Kong, a senior research fellow in the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, and a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto in Canada. His research interests encompass blockchain information systems, digital currencies, fintech, and data analysis. He has presided over multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and Ministry of Education fund projects related to blockchain and digital currencies, and has published over 80 papers in international journals and conferences such as I&M, DSS, IPM, ACM Trans, and IEEE Trans, WWW, ICIS. His course "Blockchain and Innovative Thinking" has been selected as a national first-class undergraduate course, and "Thinking in Data" has been selected as one of the first batch of first-class undergraduate courses in Jiangsu Province.



Prof. Ya Chen, Hefei University of Technology, China

Ya Chen is a professor in the School of Economics at Hefei University of Technology. He serves as Chair of the Department of Data Science and Economic Statistics and Director of the Academic Exchange Center, School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests cover data science and big data analytics, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, low-carbon transition and green development, etc. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals including European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research, Energy Economics, Journal of Management Science and Engineering, and conferences including the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the China Summer Workshop on Information Management (CSWIM), the International Conference on Blockchain Research and Applications (BCRA). He has undertaken a number of national and provincial research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, the General Project of Anhui Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning. Additionally, he holds editorial roles for several journals such as guest associate editor for Omega, editorial board member for Humanities and Social Sciences Communications and Industrial Management & Data Systems.
