General Information

 2012 5th International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering (ICACTE 2012) will be held in Cape Town, South Africa during August 18-19, 2012.

The 1st ICACTE was held in Phuket Island, Thailand in 2008.

The 2nd ICACTE was held in Cairo, Egypt in 2009.

The 3rd ICACTE was held in Chengdu, China in 2010.

The 4th ICACTE was held in Dubai, UAE in 2011.

The upcoming ICACTE 2012 will inherit the advantages of the previous conferences and develop the conference to a higher level.  The theme of the 5th ICACTE is to discuss the new development of computer theory and engineering, and to promote its new application.  ICACTE 20111 will bring together leading engineers and scientists around the world, so as to present their research results and development activities in Computer Theory and Engineering. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

ICACTE is sponsored by Singapore International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), and hosted by by Chulalongkorn University (Thailand 2008), Aim Shams University (Egypt 2009), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and IEEE (China, 2010), and SZABIST (Dubai, 2011) respectively, and technical co-sponsored by many universities and institutes.

This year, as usual, the conference proceeding will be published by ASME Press, which will be included in the ASME Digital Library, and indexed by the Ei Compendex, ISI Proceeding and other major indexing services. (Pending)

Sep.30, 2011 Notice! Prof. Anu A. Gokhale from Illinois State University (USA) and Prof. Wang Jun from Chinese University of Hong Kong will deliver a keynote speech at the conference respectively. (Click)
